...simply beautiful Grace Kelly!
My name is Grace Patricia Kelly, I was born in 1929 in Philadelphia and died in 1982 in France. I was a highly popular actress in the 1950' Golden Age of Televison, schooled at American Academy of Dramatic Arts. I starred in movies such as Dial M for Murder, High Society with Frank Sinatra and Bing Crosby and To Catch a Thief. With the release of Mogambo, I became a movie star, a status confirmed
in 1954 with a Golden Globe Award and Academy Award nomination. In april 1956 I married Rainier III, Prince of Monaco, to become Princess consort of Monaco, styled as Her Serene Highness The Princess of Monaco, and commonly referred to as Princess Grace. I retired from acting at 26 to enter upon my duties in Monaco. Me and my Prince Rainier had three children: Caroline, Albert, and Stéphanie. I died after suffering a stroke on September 14, 1982, when I lost control of my automobile and crashed. My daughter, Princess Stéphanie, was in the car with me, and survived the accident. In June 1999, the American Film Institute ranked me No.13 in their list of top female stars of American cinema.

interesting Grace Kelly facts:
* Kelly took a bold stand against a racist incident involving Black American expatriate singer/dancer Josephine Baker, when a club in New York refused Baker as a customer. Kelly, who was
dining at the club when this happened, was so disgusted that she rushed
over to Baker (whom she had never met), took her by the arm, and stormed
out with her entire party, vowing never to return (and she never did)
* despite all the luxury and the lavish lifestyle, the life of the
Princess of Monaco was not all plain sailing; it has been well
documented that Grace Kelly longed to return to her own life and suffered from
depression
* Grace Kelley was the first ever actress to have her name on a US postage stamp, which appeared in 1993
* her father was not too keen on the prospect of having an actress daughter
* both Grace Kelly’s parents were athletes and her father was also a self-made millionaire
* before her marriage to Prince Rainier, Grace Kelly was engaged to be
married to fashion designer Oleg Cassini, who was famous for being the
man behind the ‘Jackie Look’ of First Lady, Jacqueline Kennedy
* following the wedding, the screening of any Grace Kelly movies was banned in Monaco by Prince Rainier

An alter ego is a "second self", a distinction from a person's normal personality. But let's take it a step further, let's focus beyond a personal state and move it to the level of everyday objects. I will try and find a different, special and interesting subject of any kind, be that in person or matter, then shortly describe it with some text and a few pictures. An interesting way of learning a thing or two about everything beautiful that surrounds us!

...this lovely vintag-y like dress!
I am a Chotronette dress, which is a Romanian fashion brand. They are inspired by ballerinas and circus music, they love insane photoshoots. The brand consist of two designers, Silvia Chiteala and Laura Cazacu. "We’re obsessed with Frida Kahlo, retro punk music, Art Nouveau architecture, Wes Anderson’s movies and Victorian glasshouses. Our artistic goal is to make timeless dresses that would have looked great at Gatsby’s parties, but that would still look exquisite 50 years from now. We don’t believe in trends, but we do believe in style./.../ The characters we create in the Chotronette imaginarium are the seemingly-perfect suburban housewife, the Russian princess, the Audrey Hepburn wannabe, the goth Tim Burton muse and Mexican Lolita. We create these imaginary universes, because the world needs stories and we consider ourselves visual story tellers.
/.../Chotronette was featured in Vogue Britain and Vogue Italy, Playboy Romania and many other local magazines. We’ve collaborated with some very inspiring people, and we’re always searching for artists who share our aesthetic values."
other Chotronette dresses:
interesting dress facts:
* up until the 19th century, children were dressed as miniature adults
* up until around 1910, it was totally common for little boys to wear dresses until they were around 5 or 6
* during the 1860s, dresses were so wide that women were often stuck in doorways
* South Korea used to have actual fashion police who would go around measuring the miniskirt length of women; if skirts were deemed too short, they could be fined or arrested
* the world’s longest wedding dress has a train that’s 1.85 miles long; it required approximately three miles of taffeta and 18 feet of lace to produce
* Marie Antoinette was actually super modest and wore a high-cut flannel gown while bathing so nobody could catch a glimpse of her naughty bits

...this beautiful Cinderella castle!
I am a fairy tale castle, located at the two Disney themed parks, The Magic Kingdom at the Walt Disney World Resort (Bay Lake, Florida, since 1971) and Tokyo Disneyland in Tokyo. I was inspired by lots of different palaces, real and fictional, such as Fontainebleau, Versailles, Neuschweinstein, Alcázar of Segovia (the oldest of them all), Moszna Castle and others. Herbert Ryman, the chief designer is also the original creator of the castle in the Cinderella film and the Sleeping Beauty Castle (California). Inside the castle, within the main corridor, there are 5 handcrafted mosaic murals, containing 14-karat gold and silver plus more than a million pieces of glass in 500 different colours, which tells the classic tale of Cinderella. Cinderela's Royal Table lets you dine with Disney Princesses inside of a storybook setting for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is also a Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, a beauty salon where girls and boys are magically transformed into little princesses and knights.
